
Senior Proposal Pricing / Accounting Analyst

The Senior Proposal Pricing/Accounting Analyst will report directly to the Controller. This position is located in our Shared Service Center in Crestview, Florida.
The Senior Proposal Pricing/Accounting Analyst is responsible for the collection, aggregation, and analysis of pricing data to establish and validate pricing strategies, tactics and business models across product lines and customer segments. The Analyst will support and collaborate with our Accounting and Finance, Business Development teams, and others across the organization to build and maintain systems and tools that optimize growth, revenue and profitability, drive ongoing performance, reinforce the pricing strategy and support overall corporate goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide detailed cost/pricing analysis of RFP‘s to support compliant cost proposals
Development of pricing models and pricing strategies, with input from appropriate areas for Senior Management approval
Researches and analyzes historical data, compile various cost and pricing to develop cost models to support proposal efforts
Participates in Business Development Meetings: fact-finding, costing and pricing reviews
Work cross-functionally with the Business Development Team and Finance Department on contract development, administration, compliance and reporting
Point of Contact for DCAA/DCMA proposal audits
Generate reports and conduct analysis to calculate program profitability
Support of customer task order (TO) processing. This effort includes the setup of RFP file folders, establishment of project numbers, and the creation of RFQ records
A demonstrated history of data entry and analysis using SharePoint and Excel. The ability to analyze, report, and brief data using metrics and Excel graphs
A broad base of customer support experience with an emphasis on efficient and courteous e-mail and telephone communication
Knowledge of web portal access and the upload / download of proposal bid documents
A basic knowledge of DOD program environment, to include FAR, ITAR, DFAR, DCAA and DSS to develop compliant cost strategies
Variance analysis and ad hoc reporting using spreadsheet templates
Maintain detailed database of relevant trends that affect pricing decisions
Complete detailed bid packaging against critical (and often narrow) deadlines set by customers
Support Finance Department as requested

Educational/Training Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Statistics or related field; Master’s degree preferred
Minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar environment (Proposal Pricing/Government Contracting)
Required Skills/Experience
Work entails confidential and sensitive information requiring a high degree of discretion
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Costpoint
Working knowledge of Service Contract Act (SCA) and Collective Bargaining Agreements
Experience interpreting contract SOW and PWS documents
Experience with proposal pricing to include benefits and personnel
Excellent communication skills both written and verbally
Detail-oriented and ability to multitask
Able to set priorities for each day
Able to work independently
Able to set and meet goals
Must be able to work extended hours, nights, weekends as required
Security Clearance: Able to obtain and maintain as required
Travel: 20%
Primarily office environment

Clearance Requirements
Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.
