Job Overview The outside sales representative position is responsible for generating sales revenue by identifying and acquiring new business accounts. Our sales representative will be expected to build and maintain relationships with potential customers and will work closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
The Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for the full sales cycle from prospect to close, selling our client's roll-off dumpster solutions to GC's, builders, and company owners.
Responsibilities
Identify and acquire new business accounts through prospecting and networking
Build and maintain relationships with customers to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
Educate customers about the benefits of the company's roll-off dumpster services
Provide quotes and proposals to potential customers
Negotiate contracts and pricing with customers
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and pickup of dumpsters
Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer information in a CRM system
Attend industry events and trade shows to promote the company's services
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitors' activities
Qualifications
Proven track record of sales success in the roll off dumpster industry
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Self‑motivated and results‑driven
Comfortable using CRM systems and other sales tools
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Working Conditions The sales representative position will work primarily in a remote setting, but will also spend time traveling to customer locations, industry events, and trade shows. The position may require occasional evening and weekend work to accommodate customer schedules.
