Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
LHH is seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to support our client in Atlanta. Under attorney supervision, this role involves researching, compiling, analyzing, and summarizing information, as well as preparing drafts of legal documents and correspondence for attorney review.
Prepare and draft documents for commercial real estate sale and/or loan transactions as requested by attorneys
Organize all documents and research materials for matter files and attorney review
Review and analyze title documents and surveys; draft title and survey objection letters
Organize, calendar, coordinate, and complete all steps for transactions and matters, including:
Commercial real estate sale, lease, and loan transactions
Assignments, closings, escrow transfers, and transaction reporting
Complete all post-closing documentation, including recordings, title policies, closing binders, and certificates of title
Required Skills
Nuance
Legal document management systems (e.g., iManage, WorkShare or similar platforms)
Experience handling a wide variety of commercial real estate transactions, filings, and deal types
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum of five (5) years of commercial real estate experience in a law firm setting
Experience with commercial real estate and title searches, including review and commentary on surveys
