Job Description As Senior Industrial Designer, you'll lead the Espiritu design process from concept to completion. You’ll combine creativity, technical expertise, and leadership to deliver products in diverse industries that meet functional, ergonomic, and aesthetic requirements while exceeding client expectations.
What You’ll Do Responsibilities
Lead a structured process including user observation, experience mapping, and competitive analysis to identify and document product requirements.
Create extensive conceptual sketches for evaluation and selection.
Facilitate brainstorming and creative problem‑solving workshops.
Develop models and illustrations to communicate scale, context, features, functions, and aesthetics.
Define color, material, and finish (CMF) specifications and contribute to manufacturing tech pack development.
Deliver high‑quality presentations and maintain clear and enthusiastic client communication.
Validate designs through focus groups and simulated use studies.
Perform basic project management tasks including maintaining project schedules and budgets and communicating risks to management.
Drive internal design process improvements and integrate new technologies.
Who You Are
A design leader, strategic thinker, and hands‑on maker.
An example of ownership, reliability, ambition, and service.
Passionate about building culture and elevating team performance.
Experienced with hardgoods design; soft goods and medical devices are a plus.
Skilled in designing for diverse prototyping and manufacturing methods (textiles, plastics, metals).
Proficient in SolidWorks, Rhino, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Keyshot.
What You’ll Need
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design (or 2 years directly related industry experience).
U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
4-6 years of post‑educational product design experience.
