Job Title Inside Sales Specialist (Florida PACE Centers)

Job Summary Responsible for meeting specific sales objectives and management-directed goals, increasing enrollment, and nurturing prospective member interest toward conversion. Fully executes the sales objectives and strategies as outlined in the Florida PACE Centers annual enrollment budget plan. Also responsible for carrying out all steps of the sales process from initial contact through closed enrollment.

This role is highly phone-focused and referral-driven, requiring consistent inbound and outbound engagement, strict adherence to established sales workflows, and direct accountability for converting assigned referrals into enrolled participants. The Inside Sales Specialist plays a critical role in achieving departmental enrollment goals through urgency, disciplined follow-up, and performance-driven execution.

Essential Job Functions

Owns and optimizes inside enrollment strategy for assigned markets or referral channels

Develops a relationship-based approach to cultivating interest in the program through initial contact and routine, purposeful follow-up.

Communicates the Florida PACE Centers value proposition with clarity and urgency to prospective members and their families.

Conducts high-volume inbound and outbound phone calls daily to nurture assigned referrals and advance prospects through the sales pipeline.

Responds to all assigned referrals with urgency and timeliness, prioritizing same-day or next-business-day contact.

Owns assigned referrals from initial contact through enrollment, following the established inside sales workflow head-to-toe.

Manages incoming inquiries and the sales process from first inquiry through application start and closed enrollment.

Maintains active engagement with each assigned lead until a clear outcome is reached (enrolled, not eligible, or not interested).

Meets or exceeds daily, weekly, and monthly performance targets, including call activity, tours, presentations, applications, and closed enrollments.

Demonstrates direct accountability for converting referrals into enrolled participants through disciplined follow-up and consistent execution.

Schedules and conducts PACE center tours, Open Houses for PACE, and virtual or in-person meetings with prospective participants and families.

Facilitates timely enrollment by maintaining frequent personal contact with prospective participants and family members via phone, virtual connection, or in-person interaction.

Obtains required documentation to initiate the enrollment process and schedule prospects for assessments at the PACE center.

Makes consistent follow-up calls and sends correspondence to increase interest, secure tours or visits, and maintains enrollment momentum.

Exercises independent judgment in prioritizing referrals, outreach methods, and enrollment pathways.

Accurately documents all calls, contacts, notes, and outcomes in the CRM in real time to support workflow continuity, reporting, and outstanding customer service.

Works closely with Enrollment Specialist to ensure timely and accurate completion of enrollment requirements.

Collaborates with Outside Sales team members to follow up on referrals generated through community outreach efforts (occasional).

Conducts home or community visits as needed and when helpful to the sales process.

Participates in departmental meetings, Florida PACE Center Management Team meetings, trainings, and in-services.

Participates in ongoing training, coaching, and performance feedback sessions; demonstrate openness to learning and continuous improvement.

Supports the Business Development Director and Outreach team as needed to achieve departmental enrollment and growth goals.

Identifies process gaps and recommends workflow improvements.

Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree required (Healthcare-related area, Communications or Marketing preferred).

Experience in lieu of education will be considered.

Experience

5 to 7 years of experience in Healthcare, Admissions, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, or related field preferred.

Licenses/Certifications

Medical Terminology Certification preferred

Must have valid Florida Driver’s license and auto insurance.

Abilities Required

Demonstrated ability to think critically and manage multiple tasks with strong organizational skills.

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Proven capability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Proficiency with computers; experience using Microsoft Word is required.

Familiarity with the Florida Medicaid System is preferred.

Bilingual or multilingual skills in English, Spanish, and/or Creole are preferred.
