Job Description Summary Regional Associate Director Employer Relations and Work+ to strategically cultivate and strengthen relations with, and between employers, students, alumni, and faculty to effectively deliver comprehensive employer development services.

Job Description

Lead and supervise employer relations team, providing supervision, mentoring and strategic direction.

Develop new and maintain existing employer relationships and work actively to promote recruitment of Miami University regional students through direct contact with employers.

Collaborate with the Communication & Marketing team to design, develop, and timeline marketing material for employers and students.

Maintain and manage student and employer records, agreements, invoices, and bursar bill reconciliation.

Supports the collection, analysis, and reporting of data regarding recruiting activities, job placements and salaries.

Execute special projects assigned by the director.

Work + Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Director of Career Services and Work-based Learning to integrate Work+ into Miami Regionals co-curricular learning opportunities.

Strategically identify and build relationships with local, state, and national employers to recruit Work+ employers.

Promote the program internally and externally in collaboration with admission, marketing, development, and external relations.

Responsible for recruitment and retention of student participants.

Implements all Work+ student and employer program requirements, including student and employer onboarding, status checks, and end-of-semester evaluations.

Actively participate in local, state, regional, and national organizations to increase involvement in Work+.

Manage work+ budget.

May include supervision of staff and student employees with future program growth.

Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree. Three years of experience in human resources, recruitment, management, academic support, student life, career services, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications Multi-faceted customer service skill set, including organization, strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication, presentation skills, and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community. Experiencing working with external partners.
