Are you an Intake Specialist with 1-3 years in sales support, client intake, customer service in the healthcare industry? Day in the Life As an Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for serving as the first point of contact for prospective clients, gathering and validating essential information, assessing opportunity readiness, and ensuring a smooth, organized transition into the sales pipeline. The Intake Specialist works closely with Sales Executives, Client Services, and Underwriting teams to qualify leads, prepare intake documentation, coordinate follow-ups, and maintain accurate records that enable a seamless and efficient sales experience. Does this sound like you? 13 years of experience in sales support, client intake, customer service, or related administrative role. Strong understanding of employee benefits, TPA services, or health plan operations (preferred but not required). Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail. Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Microsoft Office systems. Detail-Oriented: Ensures accuracy in all documentation and data entry. Customer-Centric: Provides a high-quality first impression for prospective clients. Process-Driven: Follows intake procedures with consistency and discipline. Collaborative: Works effectively with Sales, Underwriting, and Operations teams. Organized & Efficient: Manages high-volume intake activities with structure and clarity. Proactive Communicator: Anticipates information needs and follows up promptly.
