Strategy Director, PepsiCo Beverages United States (PBUS)
The PepsiCo Beverages US (PBUS) Strategy function plays a critical role in charting the long-term growth and portfolio development of PepsiCo’s US Beverages operating unit. We are tasked with ensuring the company invests in assets and capabilities needed to stay ahead of the competition and maintain market leadership. This entails developing actionable solutions for some of the most challenging issues facing the company.
To bring fresh and disruptive thinking to the ever-changing environment, PepsiCo has Strategy professionals aligned to each of our Operating Units (e.g., PBUS), Global Businesses, and PepsiCo Corporate. As a PBUS Strategy Director, you will contribute to a range of critical and impactful business priorities. The PBUS Strategy team has three broad responsibilities:
Oversee and execute the PBUS long-term strategic planning process for the PBUS Senior Leadership Team, PepsiCo Executive Committee, and Board of Directors
Serve as the internal consulting team and thought partners to the PBUS organization and Senior Leadership Team
Partner across other Strategy teams and initiatives across PepsiCo North America and worldwide as applicable
Responsibilities
Provide thought partnership to business partners and other senior leaders on a broad range of business-critical topics
Identify and deconstruct business issues and develop strategic, analytical, and financial frameworks to conduct analyses
Support the planning and execution of the enterprise strategic planning process
Demonstrate strong leadership and influence management skills with the ability to gain credibility with senior leadership while challenging the status quo
Build executive-ready project deliverables
Lead project teams and oversee data analytics processes to ensure conclusions are grounded in fact
Execute against time-sensitive requests from the VP PBUS Strategy, PepsiCo North America Chief Strategy & Transformation Officer, and other cross-functional business leaders and partners
Maintain an external mindset, including monitoring consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic/geopolitical trends
Develop and mentor junior team members with a focus on skill development and career management
Contribute to capability building for the Global Strategy function (e.g., recruiting, training, knowledge management)
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected compensation range for this position is between $132,200 - $262,400.
Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.
Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance.
Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
8+ years of Strategy experience, either in an in-house role or with a top-tier consulting firm
BA required (MBA strongly preferred)
Proven ability to break down complex business problems, structure analytical frameworks, and generate clear, actionable insights
Highly analytical and motivated thought leader with strong decision-making skills and business judgment
Strong proficiency in data analysis and executive-level storytelling using MS Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to educate and influence senior leaders and effectively “manage up”
High emotional intelligence and strong interpersonal skills
Outstanding project management skills
Experience managing teams and partnering with multiple business functions
Passion for consumer packaged goods and our brands
Global outlook with sensitivity and awareness of macro, social, cultural, consumer, and business trends
