We're seeking an experienced, relationship‑driven Business Banker to join our Coon Rapids location.
This role is a great fit for a banking professional who excels at building strong client relationships, driving business growth, and staying actively involved in their community.
Responsibilities
The Business Banker will be responsible for providing loan, deposit and cash management solutions for their business clients. Originate loans and manage the assigned portfolio in growth, mix, margin, credit quality and fee income. Responsible for generating new loan volume for the bank. This will include soliciting new business relationships and deepening relationships and providing customer service with existing customers. Actively work with delinquent loans to maintain the quality of the loan portfolio. Responsible for creating new deposit relationships and expanding existing relationships. Negotiate rates and terms of loans with customers and management within set guidelines. Involvement in community and civic organizations, as appropriate, to represent Border Bank in the community. Strong relationship‑building and communication skills. A passion for business development and community engagement. Solid credit analysis skills. 5+ years of banking experience. A four‑year degree in business administration or equivalent experience. Border Bank Benefits
