MDM Functional Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and business-focused MDM Functional Consultant to join our team in Michigan City, IN. This role will be responsible for gathering requirements, designing master data solutions, and ensuring data governance best practices across enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure master data is accurate, standardized, and aligned with operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and document master data requirements Analyze current data processes and recommend improvements Design and configure master data workflows, hierarchies, and validation rules Support implementation and optimization of MDM solutions Define data governance standards, policies, and ownership models Conduct testing, user acceptance validation, and issue resolution Provide training and documentation for end users Monitor data quality and compliance with established standards Work closely with IT teams to support integrations and enhancements Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Data Management, or related field 3+ years of experience in Master Data Management, business analysis, or functional consulting Strong understanding of data governance principles Experience gathering and translating business requirements into functional specifications Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work on-site in Michigan City, IN Preferred Qualifications
Experience with MDM platforms (such as Informatica, SAP MDG, or similar) Knowledge of ERP or CRM systems Background in data quality tools or reporting platforms Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or enterprise environments This is on-site role requiring daily presence at our Michigan City office. The position involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and active participation in workshops, meetings, and implementation sessions.
