We are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly organized Social Media Manager to elevate and unify the digital presence of our brands. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced hospitality environment, has a refined visual eye, and understands how to translate in‑restaurant excellence into compelling digital storytelling.
This position reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing, COO, and Marketing Manager.
Position Overview The Social Media Manager will develop and execute platform‑specific strategies across all CHG brands, lead content creation, photography, short‑form video production, community engagement, and performance tracking to ensure our digital presence reflects the sophistication and energy of our restaurants and hotels.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Brand Voice
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies for each CHG property
Maintain consistent brand voice and visual standards across all platforms
Align social campaigns with restaurant promotions, seasonal programming, events, and PR initiatives
Content Creation & Production
Photograph nightly specials, seasonal menu launches, events, and behind‑the‑scenes moments
Collaborate with chefs and General Managers to build and maintain a robust photo and video library
Produce and edit high‑quality content for Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok, and LinkedIn
Create weekly content calendars and schedule posts using Sprout Social
Design graphics and promotional assets using Canva and Adobe Creative Suite
Maintain executive team headshots and brand image archives
Video & Digital Storytelling
Create short‑form video content (Reels, TikTok, Stories)
Capture dynamic restaurant footage, including food, interiors, team features, and guest experiences
Edit video content for social media and digital advertising
Community Engagement & Reputation
Manage daily engagement, including responding to messages and comments
Monitor brand mentions and assist with reputation management
Update restaurant hours and digital listings as needed
Analytics & Reporting
Track engagement metrics and campaign performance
Analyze social media and paid advertising results
Provide monthly performance reports with actionable recommendations
Administrative & Team Support
Provide marketing and administrative support to the Director of Sales & Marketing, Marketing Manager, and COO
Assist with special projects, campaigns, and promotional initiatives as needed
Qualifications
2–4+ years of professional social media management experience
Experience in restaurant or hospitality, strongly preferred
Proficiency in Sprout Social, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Lightroom, Acrobat)
DSLR cameras and professional photography equipment
Video production and editing tools
Strong visual composition and food photography skills
Excellent written communication and copywriting ability
Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
Flexible schedule; some evenings and weekends required
