Position Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Sr. Edit/Media Specialist for Rutgers Communications. Reporting to the Senior Director of Communications and Marketing, this position is responsible for managing the production of large-scale, complex digital communications for high-level university clients to engage numerous constituents.

Key Duties Serves as content expert, creating, editing, organizing, and updating content for Rutgers–New Brunswick and RBHS chancellor-level websites, including newbrunswick.rutgers.edu and academichealth.rutgers.edu, and other digital communication platforms.

Leads assigned projects with internal stakeholders, providing feedback and a client-based relationship to ensure deliverables are met for projects.

Serves as the account manager for multiple projects for complex, detailed websites.

Serves as the liaison to other teams within the department to provide expertise and guidance on digital best practices for projects initiated by both internal and external stakeholders.

Handles training units on Drupal and email marketing platforms.

Minimum Education and Experience Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, communications, or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates knowledge, skill, and understanding of website management and publishing and digital reporting.

A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a communications, editorial, or marketing role managing and publishing websites.

Special Conditions Some evening and weekend work required.

Occasional intercampus travel required.
