A leading global logistics provider is seeking a commercially driven
Sales Manager
to lead, develop and scale its freight forwarding sales team across the US. This is not a desk-only management role, we are looking for a hands‑on leader who can coach, structure, and drive performance while still being commercially sharp. You will:
Lead, mentor and develop a team of Business Development Managers Help new hires ramp up quickly and effectively Drive pipeline generation and structured sales activity Implement KPIs, forecasting and CRM discipline Support strategic RFPs and major client pitches Work cross‑functionally with operations and pricing Contribute to overall revenue growth strategy This role is ideal for someone currently managing 3–10 sales reps within a freight forwarding or 3PL environment. 5+ years in freight forwarding (Ocean & Air preferred) Proven experience managing and developing sales teams Strong understanding of global logistics solutions (FCL, LCL, Air, etc.) Experience in structured sales environments with clear KPIs Track record of driving revenue growth and margin discipline Commercially confident and comfortable in executive‑level discussions Why Consider This Role?
