Responsibilities The Early Intervention Specialist provides services to children with a variety of developmental disabilities or delays. The Early Intervention Specialist works with children in a variety of settings to help implement personalized focused treatment programs to increase positive outcomes and independence.
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from accredited university preferred
Valid state teaching certificate or with SPED endorsement
One year experience as an Early Intervention Specialist preferred
Must have Early Childhood Experience
Elementary Experience with 1st through 3rd grade is adequate, if they have 3+ years of experience that is very recent
Experience with IFSPs
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
Must be at least 18 years of age
