Custom Cabinet Builder

Job Summary This position involves fabricating high-end, custom, commercial-grade wood assemblies using woodworking machinery and hand tools. The role requires reading and interpreting blueprints, constructing components, assembling units, and preparing pieces for finishing. The job also includes hardware installation and occasional fieldwork such as measuring, installation, and client meetings.

Teamwork Mindset, and organizational skills are essential.

Duties

Set up and operate various woodworking machinery (table saws, planers, miter saws, routers, drill press).

Interpret and follow blueprints and construction drawings.

Cut, trim, and shape plywood or hardwood materials.

Fit and secure joints using hand tools (planes, chisels, wood files).

Bore holes manually or using boring machines.

Glue, fit, clamp, and assemble sub-components and full units.

Use nail guns and staplers to fasten assemblies and reinforce joints.

Sand and scrape surfaces to prepare for finishing.

Install hardware such as hinges, catches, and drawer pulls.

Maintain strong organization, independence, and teamwork.

Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening and follow drug-free policies.

(Preferred) Demonstrate knowledge of solid-surface fabrication.
