The Volunteer and Community Engagement Associate will help us take that partnership to the next level by building and launching Goodwill Middle Tennessee’s first-ever structured volunteer program. In addition to recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers, this role will cultivate relationships with individuals, community groups, and corporate partners, while supporting events that expand our mission’s reach. Essential Functions Recruit, onboard, and manage volunteers for various programs and events. Match volunteers with appropriate opportunities based on interests and organizational needs. Develop and maintain relationships with community groups, schools, and corporate partners to promote volunteerism. Coordinate volunteer appreciation and recognition efforts. Collaborate with the Director of Development to support event planning and logistics. Maintain accurate volunteer records and track engagement metrics. Represent the organization at community events and networking opportunities. Assist in developing marketing materials and communications related to volunteer and community engagement. Other duties as assigned by Manager. Qualifications

Education Experience 1–2 years of experience in volunteer coordination, community engagement, or related fields preferred. Knowledge and Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with volunteer management software is a plus. Passion for nonprofit work and community service. Salary Range: $23- $27 per hour based on experience
