
Tournament Sales Manager

Responsible for partnering with the Sales Director to execute the sales process from initial inquiry to closing the sale in order to maximize club revenue through new business and customer acquisition. The product line for this role will be Tournaments.
Primary Responsibilities
Schedule sales calls and business development activities to grow the pipeline with qualified leads and execute sales strategies through timely follow up and activities that produce high closing rates
Manage prospect database and pipeline including detailed notes and organization utilizing CRM system
Conduct tours of the club to qualified potential clients, coordinating with other departments to create customized experiences that increase sales
Establish client base of organizations, associations, social and corporate businesses through direct outside and inside sales efforts as assigned by the Sales Director and sales plan
Drive lead generation through cold-calling and business development
Accurately forecast revenues and track bookings
Qualifications
Minimum two years of commissioned sales experience preferred
Proven ability to prospect, negotiate and close new business
Strong prioritization, planning and organizational skills
Ability to utilize CRM and funnel management tools and apply them consistently to forecast business, manage customer opportunities, build opportunity pipeline, and make business decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Sets high goals and continuously strives for excellence
Effectively illustrates a compelling point of view and moves others to action
Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University
