Siemens Government Technologies seeks an experienced Proposal Writer to spearhead our Building and Energy Portfolio which includes our Electronic Security System ESS-VII, UMCS V, and other contracts for the proposal and technical writing. and the deliverables of the design, engineering, procurement, installation, maintenance, and services for the Federal Government worldwide.
Responsibilities
Developing and producing the Request for Proposal (RFP) proposal technical responses. Develop, produce, review, and submit a variety of written documents which may include whitepapers, CDRLs, and business development documents.
A significant amount of interviewing subject matter experts and capturing diverse subject matter into concise and detailed technical solutions.
Working with our Proposal Manager to develop compliant and compelling narratives for requests for proposals.
Conduct thorough research to gather and analyze data, statistics, and other relevant information about the proposal subject.
Write, revise, and edit drafts, including executive summaries, conclusions, and organization credentials.
Develop and organize proposals in accordance with the company’s strategy and compliance with the client’s requirements.
Work with the team to ensure the timely submission of proposals and maintain and improve proposal databases.
Run proposal compliance checks using tools like a compliance matrix, QC checklist, and submission checklist to reduce disqualifiers and rework.
Requirements
B.S degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent years of experience.
Must have a minimum of five years of experience with writing proposals for the federal government.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Federal Government, ESS, and UMCS proposals.
Experience with technical writing for USACE.
Knowledge and understands the Shipley BD and Proposal Process
Security Clearance
Candidate must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance
