We are seeking a detail-oriented
Architectural Drafter / Design Engineer
for a well established commercial millwork and cabinetry company. This person will create and maintain accurate drawings supporting the manufacturing of architectural millwork and commercial casework projects.
This role is responsible for producing drawings to customer specifications, assisting with product engineering, and coordinating closely with project management and production teams to ensure timely and accurate fabrication.
What We’re Looking For:
2+ years of drafting experience (architectural millwork / commercial casework preferred)
Proficiency in
CAD software and Microvellum
Vocational degree in drafting or equivalent experience
Strong ability to read and interpret architectural drawings & specifications
Experience creating drawings from written and verbal instruction
Knowledge of millwork materials, fabrication processes, and construction sequencing
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems
Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Sense of urgency and accountability
Professional, team-oriented mindset
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
This position works closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Manufacturing Supervisors, and Detailers to ensure drawing accuracy and production readiness.
