Are you confident reading construction blueprints and turning plans into precise material lists? We're looking for a Lumber Sales Assistant who can bridge the gap between drawings and delivery.
What You'll Do:
- Read and interpret residential and light commercial blueprints
- Create accurate takeoffs and material lists for framing, decking, roofing, and finishing projects
- Assist contractors, builders, and DIY customers with product selection and estimate lists
- Provide friendly, professional service to our clients
- Strong ability to read and understand construction drawings
- Experience building detailed material takeoffs from plans
- Knowledge of dimensional lumber, engineered wood, sheet goods, and hardware
- Prior experience with construction and building materials
