
Warehouse/Parts Counter Associate

TheWarehouse/Parts Counter Associate is primarily responsible for replenishing, picking, packing, and shipping customer orders including accurate verification, completion of paperwork and materials management. Associates perform proper inventory maintenance activities using quality control steps and specified warehouse procedures. This Associate will be cross‑trained to work the Parts Counter when needed. They also operate material handling equipment and maintain a safe and clean warehouse environment.
Essential Functions
Read and execute parts tickets and packaging instructions.
Utilize inventory processes, warehouse locations and bin layouts to complete tickets.
Pull parts in a timely and efficient manner.
Process parts order for phone and counter.
Respond to telephone inquiries from both internal and external customers.
As required, or directed, operate forklift to transfer finished product and secure product for shipment.
Inspects forklift daily prior to operation and requests preventative maintenance as required.
Perform all duties in a safe manner by following safety protocols; identify and correct safety concerns in the shipping/receiving area
Keep assigned area clean and organized.
Work as a member of a team
Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous forklift operating experience is a plus.
Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.).
Able to work in a dynamic, fast paced service environment.
Must be a Team player who is enthusiastic and hard working with the ability to complete work with minimal supervision
Organizational and time management skills required.
Working Conditions
The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside (non-climate controlled) and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
Required to use personal protective equipment to prevent exposure to injury and/or hazardous materials.
Job requires standing, stooping, squatting, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, lifting.
Must be able to lift varied weight.
Seeing, reading, and writing to complete job responsibilities.
Use of computer and other forms of technology to complete job responsibilities.
