Description Station 19 Architects is a full-service planning, architecture and interior design team in Minneapolis who partner with churches, camps, ministries, schools, and non-profits to conceptualize and design space that is responsive to their needs, respectful of their past and reflective of their vision for the future. About the Role We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer: Level II to join our team. This role supports architectural design and detailing, production of construction documents, preparation of BIM models, and presentations throughout various types of and phases of projects ranging from small interior remodels, mid-sized additions, to large-scale new facilities (in both historical and contemporary buildings). The ideal candidate brings design sensibilities, communication skills, technical expertise, ability to contribute to complex remodels, multi-phase projects and the ability to contribute to the team with passion, creativity and technical expertise.
What You’ll Do
Work closely with the project architect/manager and other team members.
Prepare BIM models, drawings, schematic design, design development and construction documents.
Prepare and support 3D modeling, rendering and design presentations.
Collaborate creatively in problem solving, design of spaces, and follow-up options.
Preparation of project presentations for the Client with graphic quality and participate in client conversations and incorporate their feedback.
Manage schedules and deadlines within project budgets.
Coordinate with our internal team and outside engineering consultants.
Support in construction administration tasks (shop drawings, submittals, requests, RFIs, etc.).
What You Bring Graduate of an accredited architectural program (B.Arch or M.Arch).
3 – 5 years’ architectural design / professional experience.
Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing with clients, consultants and Team.
Strong BIM Software (ArchiCAD preferred, Revit accepted), Sketch-up, MacOS, Adobe Suite of Products and Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Excellent collaborative, problem solving and design skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple project tasks.
