Description Leads customer relationship management efforts and develops new customers for Aerzen blower and compressor solutions into pneumatic conveying, high vacuum, and other air & gas compression and conveyance applications in industrial markets of the applicable region.

Position Summary What You’ll Do:
Call on end‑user customers, engineering firms and OEMs to influence purchasing specifications to include Aerzen products.
Develop new customers within the market/region; find new applications for Aerzen products.
Manage and support relationships with existing customers, promoting and growing company’s aftermarket business across assigned territory.
Effectively manage relationships with key customer accounts, understanding the landscape, decision makers and how decisions are made.
Provide support to customers, OEMs, and engineering firms: equipment selection, review of specifications, compliance with standards, total cost of ownership assessments.
Prepare quotations and bid submittals; coordinate support for pre‑bid meetings and follow‑up.
Prepare and deliver professional presentations; coordinate customer education efforts.
Prepare sales projections, forecasts, strategies, and reports using CRM system.
Assist in developing and implementing marketing plans; support preparations for regional and national trade shows; attend and work the show as needed.
Support order processing and customer follow‑up throughout the order execution process.
Work closely with Project Sales Manager, Process Gas on key projects that include blower and compressor solutions for both process gas and air.
Work closely with Reliability Engineer to identify upgrade and retrofit opportunities.
Interact professionally with Aerzen project management, engineering, production, and customer support personnel to provide knowledge regarding specific customers and orders.
Requirements Education:
Bachelor’s Degree (four‑year college or technical school); relevant experience in lieu of degree will be considered. Area of Study: Marketing, Business Communications or related fields.
Experience:
5 years of experience in sale of industrial equipment required. Direct experience with rotary screw compressors and positive displacement blowers is a plus.
Software/Applications:
Intermediate computer knowledge: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Job‑specific software: basic ability to create, use and retrieve project‑related information from ERP systems, Product Configurator software, CRM software.
Other:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts (discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, volume); motivational skills and strong sense of urgency; action‑oriented team leader with strong performance management skills; must be able to travel more than 50% of the time; telecommuting/flexible work schedule with manager approval.
