Overview
As a Debt Consultant, you will be the first point of contact for individuals seeking relief from financial stress. This is a high-energy, inside sales position where you will handle inbound inquiries to consult with pre-qualified leads. Your goal is to evaluate their financial health and enroll them into appropriate debt relief or loan programs that put them back on the path to stability. Key Responsibilities
Consultative Sales:
Conduct in-depth financial discovery calls to understand the client’s debt profile, income, and expenses. Product Matching:
Analyze client data to recommend the best-fit financial products, including debt settlement, consolidation loans, or management plans. Pipeline Management:
Proactively follow up with leads through a CRM to ensure a high conversion rate from inquiry to enrollment. Financial Literacy:
Educate clients on the long-term benefits of debt relief and the mechanics of different loan products. Compliance & Ethics:
Ensure all sales presentations and enrollments adhere strictly to state and federal financial regulations. Qualifications
Experience:
1–3 years in Inside Sales, ideally in Finance, Insurance, or Mortgage. Communication:
Elite verbal and written skills; ability to simplify complex financial jargon. Resilience:
Comfort with high-volume dialing and handling frequent "no's." Tech Savvy:
Proficiency with CRM software and softphone systems. Integrity:
High ethical standards—dealing with people's money requires absolute transparency.
