THE ROLE AMD is seeking a senior executive leader to drive corporate strategy focused on data center infrastructure and CSP partnerships in support of AMD’s AI growth strategy. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, growth, financial structuring, and external collaboration, shaping how AMD scales and expands its data center, cloud, AI, and enterprise ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and shape strategic partnerships and investments aligned to AI infrastructure growth
Identify and evaluate power, data center, and partner opportunities
Develop strategic rationale, business cases, risk management scenarios, and growth narratives for partnerships, joint ventures, and minority investments
Partner closely with business units and senior leadership to translate market and customer needs into actionable strategy
Oversee deal execution in collaboration with Finance and Legal including diligence, valuation, and integration alignment
THE PERSON
Strategic, commercially minded leader with deep experience in data center infrastructure Business Development, Investment Banking, Consulting and/or corporate strategy
Strong understanding of data center ecosystems and how platforms scale through partnerships and inorganic growth
Proven ability to influence at the executive level and lead complex, cross‑functional initiatives
Analytical, market‑driven, and able to synthesize technical and business insights into clear recommendations
Experience
Significant experience in business development, corporate strategy, investment banking, or consulting in technology or infrastructure
Academic Credentials
Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or Business preferred
