Key duties and Responsibilities\n• Lead the technical design and architecture of SAP S/4HANA solutions for brownfield migration.\n• Oversee the migration of SAP ECC and associated components to S/4HANA with RISE using tools such as SUM DMO and Conversion Cockpit.\n• Collaborate with functional teams, BW/Reporting, BASIS, infrastructure, security and development teams to define scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures.\n• Oversee remediation of custom enhancements, Fiori apps, APIs, and interfaces (including PI/PO, CPI, and IDocs) for migration from ECC to S/4HANA.\n• Guide migration strategy, system sizing, and performance optimization activities.\n• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.\n• Participate in project planning, timeline estimation, and risk identification.\n• Review and approve implementation partner work products and deliverables.\n• Participate in planning and reviews with the implementation partner.\n• Participate in planning and reviews with SAP related to the design and implementation of RISE with SAP.\n• Participate in Architecture Review Board governance activities including production and evaluation of Architecture Decision Records

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Technical Architect to participate in the design, implementation, and optimization of end-to-end SAP technical solutions and landscapes. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA with RISE architecture, migrations (including ECC to S/4HANA), environment management, custom code remediation, data archiving, security, system integrations, and emerging cloud technologies.

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA Interface Developer (Brownfield) to support a critical modernization initiative for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). What You Will Do:

S/4HANA Development & Migration

Code Remediation: Optimize legacy code for compatibility and performance within the S/4HANA environment, conducting thorough impact analysis and testing.
Migration Strategy: Execute technical workstreams for SAP Brownfield conversions, ensuring system stability during the transition from legacy environments.

Advanced Integration & Middleware

Architect Interfaces: Design and develop robust integrations using EDI (IDocs) for asynchronous data exchange.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience, OR High School diploma with 9 years of relevant experience.
S/4HANA Expertise: Minimum of 5 years of direct S/4HANA experience.
Migration Experience: At least 5 years of hands-on SAP Brownfield migration experience.
Integration Stack: Proven working experience with EDI (IDocs), integrations with SOAP and REST, and specific experience connecting SAP with BizTalk.
Solid understanding of both Greenfield and Brownfield development strategies.
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
Must be able to obtain/maintain the required agency clearance.

Target Salary Range

$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. YOU MUST HAVE

10+ years of experience in architecture and development, designing and architecting SAP with at least 5 years focusing on SAP ERP solutions.

5+ years of experience in developing ERP related solutions including ABAP coding, functional configuration, Hana etc.

Expertise in SAP S/4HANA architecture, SAP HANA database, SAP Fiori, and integration with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
