Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and systems on marine vessels
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams for vessel systems
- Ensure electrical installations adhere to safety regulations and industry standards
- Perform inspections and testing of electrical components to ensure proper operation and safety
- Collaborate with other team members and ship personnel to complete technical tasks efficiently and accurately
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Marine Electrician or in a similar role within the maritime industry
- Strong knowledge of marine electrical systems, wiring, and certification standards
- Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Relevant certifications or licenses related to marine electrical work are preferred
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces and perform manual tasks as required
