Residuals Processing Department Onsite based in Los Angeles, CA As the collective voice of more than 19,000 members, the Directors Guild of America (DGA) helps empower directors and their teams to protect and enhance their creative and economic rights and strengthen their ability to develop meaningful, successful careers. Our members work in film, television, commercials, news, sports, and new media. The DGA is currently accepting applications for a Processor/Data Entry Clerk in the Residuals Processing department. This department is responsible for processing and distributing residual payments from studio and payroll houses. This position is onsite only at our Los Angeles headquarters. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Ingestion, validation and distribution of residuals payments sent from payroll houses and studios Heavy data entry
10-key proficiency Analyze and interpret reporting from companies to determine accuracy Upload and batching of checks via an internal software Confirm and audit all details of the payment Preparing mail to the member Light phone duties Other duties or special projects as assigned What You'll Need Organization skills to audit data using MS Excel and internal database Must be able to communicate effectively in English; in both verbal and written form Must be detail oriented Able to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines Maintain regular and acceptable attendance level Minimum Qualifications Must have previous data entry experience Intermediate MS Office Skills, including Excel and Outlook Solid math and computation skills Ability to work in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment Extremely detail-oriented Ability to successfully work independently Preferred Qualifications Previous accounting, medical coding, payroll, or other guild experience a plus Experience working with data uploads Customer service experience What You'll Get Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 401(k) plan Pension Plan Flexible Spending Account Life Insurance Short and long-term disability Company-paid holidays The salary for this position is $45,000 The DGA is an equal opportunity employer.
