The Patient Accounting Analyst plays a crucial financial role in minimizing bad debt and maximizing revenue to meet Genesis Business Excellence goals. Report to Manager, Private Collections Manage Accounts Receivable for non-delinquent and non-estate accounts with the goal to improve Days of Sales Outstanding (DSO), reduce DSO Target Ratio and improve the collection ratio. Research and verify all new patient responsible person information. Contact patient or responsible party as aged and at the appropriate time present and offer payment options. Monitor Cash Receipts Journal for payments. Transition accounts for Estate, Probate or Bankruptcy changes to designee. Qualifications
*Associate's Degree or 2 years or more of Accounts Receivable experience is required. *Experience working in high volume environment is required. *Must have a customer service orientation. Benefits
