Serve as a Realty Specialist in the Real Estate Division located in Jacksonville, Florida. You will provide realty support to the planning and design of major civil works and military projects. Salary: $50,460 to $116,362 per year. Pay will be set based upon the grade level which selected. In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Minimum Qualifications for GS-07: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying basic knowledge of directives, laws, policies, and regulations relating to Federal and Army real estate procedures associated with planning, title research, acquisition, and crediting of real property in support of Federal civil works projects. OR Education: One full year of graduate level education in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Real Estate or Business Management, etc. OR Superior Academic Achievement: Successful completion of all the requirements for a bachelor's degree with Superior Academic Achievement. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. Minimum Qualifications for GS-09: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes coordinating and providing technical guidance regarding real estate civil works Acquisitions; researching, interpreting, and applying laws and policies regarding real estate actions; identifying, obtaining, and preparing documentation needed to plan and execute real estate actions. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree, in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as Real Estate or Business Management, etc. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. Minimum Qualifications for GS-11: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying of directives, laws, policies, and regulations relating to Federal and Army real estate procedures associated with civil works projects, including working with non-Federal entities to obtain real property interests for Government construction; drafting and/or reviewing studies and engineering design plans for feasibility and to determine real estate alternatives; reviewing acquisition documentation provided by non-Federal entities; and the direct acquisition of Federal real property interests. OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Real Estate; Business Administration, etc. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. Minimum Qualifications for GS-12: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing real estate procedures associated with civil works projects, including working with non-Federal entities to obtain real property interests for Government construction; drafting and/or reviewing studies and engineering design plans for feasibility and to determine real estate alternatives; reviewing acquisition documentation provided by non-Federal entities; communicating effectively with internal/external stakeholders; and the direct acquisition of Federal real property interests. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
