About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to provide values-driven leadership in support of its mission to house, support, and empower individuals affected by homelessness. The successful candidate will work in close partnership with the Board of Directors and a dedicated Senior Leadership Team to oversee the organization's operations, finances, fundraising, and external relationships. This role demands a leader with senior executive experience in complex nonprofit or public-serving organizations, a deep understanding of homelessness and housing stability systems, and a strong commitment to racial equity and social justice. The Executive Director will be responsible for strategic planning, fostering a culture of philanthropy, and ensuring the organization's financial health and long-term sustainability.

Key responsibilities for the Executive Director include engaging the Board in strategic visioning, maintaining transparent communication, and actively participating in board activities. The role also involves collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement a clear, forward-looking strategy that aligns with the organization's values and responds to community needs. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in fundraising, financial management, and talent development, and will be expected to lead with emotional intelligence, humility, and a focus on long-term impact. This is a highly visible, relationship-centered position that requires a leader who can serve as a trusted public voice and advance the organization's mission through strong external relationships and partnerships.
