Our client is seeking a
Contract Packaging Graphic Designer
to help their products stand out on the shelf and make an immediate impact. In this role, you’ll transform technical product information into bold, clear, retail-ready packaging that customers can understand at a glance. You’ll work closely with product development, design, and marketing leadership to ensure every SKU communicates value and aligns with the brand.
Responsibilities
Design retail packaging across multiple formats:
blister cards, clamshells, boxes, labels, and inserts
Create packaging layouts that clearly communicate
benefits, specs, compatibility, and safety details
Maintain brand consistency across SKUs, product lines, and retailer requirements
Prepare and deliver
print-ready files , including dielines, bleeds, color profiles, and material specs
Collaborate with internal teams to translate product details and regulatory requirements
Work with vendors/printers to review proofs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure production accuracy
Adapt packaging for
retailer-specific
or
regional compliance
needs
Provide occasional support for marketing assets (sell sheets, product visuals, e-commerce graphics)
Qualifications
Graphic design experience with a strong emphasis on packaging
Proficiency in
Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Strong understanding of print production, dielines, materials, and color management
Ability to simplify technical information into clean, consumer-friendly visuals
High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
