Community Outreach Specialist

The Community Outreach Specialist reports to the Senior marketer, and leadership team. This role is ideal for a motivated marketer who enjoys connecting with people, representing a trusted local brand, and creating partnerships with businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations.
This is a marketing and relationship-focused position that plays a key role in expanding brand awareness, generating leads, and strengthening community ties.

Responsibilities
Visit local businesses daily (apartments, storage facilities, realtors, etc.)
Drop off material, introduce yourself, and build relationships.
Track contacts, managers, and site visits.
Distribute flyers and leave-behind materials.
Attend community events and network with local businesses.
Representing the company in a professional, knowledgeable, and courteous manner always.
This role has huge impact. The relationships you build directly create new opportunities.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license.
Reliable personal transportation.
High energy and outgoing personality.
Enjoy talking to people.
Must be comfortable working independently.
Must be OK being outside and driving daily.
Excellent oral and written comprehension and communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Must be proficient with the following: Excel, Word, Outlook, Google, and other web-based applications.
