This position is based out of our

National Center

office in

Dallas, TX . This is a hybrid role (in‑office at least 1 to 2 days a week, as needed).

Responsibilities

Responsible for developing and implementing a marketing strategy for programs in the Healthcare Business Solutions department.

Responsible for developing marketing initiatives, collaborative opportunities, partnership requests, brand structure and guidelines, and maintaining internal and external‑facing marketing mediums, including online strategy, website development, marketing tools, and conference presence.

Creates, manages, and implements marketing plans for assigned programs such as internal communications, consumer marketing, web, and social media marketing.

Manages the development of marketing collateral across digital/interactive, social media, webinars, and live events.

Designs and compiles materials for online publications; develops and updates digital marketing platforms.

Manages vendor/agency relationships to ensure effective execution and timely delivery of campaign components.

Serves as a marketing lead throughout the entire product development process for new and updated courses, materials, and programs.

Partners and completes projects with existing association programs and initiatives. Facilitates marketing campaign prioritization in collaboration with internal stakeholders and establishes long‑term integrated marketing plans aligned to the unique needs of the Healthcare Business Solutions department and its eCommerce platforms and products.

Collaborates with the Communications team to complete timely promotions; evaluates and maintains brand integrity and evolving needs.

Collaborates with other Association departments on reporting and status updates that will provide insight into marketing campaign results and measure effectiveness, including lead generation, opportunity creation, pipeline contribution, and return on investment of marketing efforts within the program.

Organizes event efforts supporting various industry conferences and tradeshows, including promotional efforts and logistics.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in marketing, communications, advertising, or journalism.

Three (3) years of experience managing marketing programs involving integrated marketing communications.

Consistent record of creating and executing integrated marketing campaigns using tactics that include live events, webinars, email marketing, digital advertising, social media, creative and design capabilities, and market research.

Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple timelines.

Experience supporting full product lifecycle marketing—launch planning, go‑to‑market execution, and ongoing audience engagement.

Strong written communication skills, including technical writing, email marketing, and content development for professional audiences.

Skilled in navigating environments with evolving processes; capable of contributing to process development and documentation.

Ability to travel up to 15% – 20%, including overnight stays.

Compensation & Benefits The expected pay range will be

$70,000 to $80,000 . Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range. The American Heart Association invests in its people.
