The position works closely with engineers and shop‑floor teams to translate concepts, redlines, and models into clear, buildable drawings.
Mechanical Drafter Responsibilities
Create and maintain 2D and 3D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
Produce manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and bill of material references.
Translate engineer sketches and redlines into production-ready documentation.
Revise drawings based on engineering changes and shop feedback.
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure buildable designs.
Mechanical Drafter Qualifications
2+ years of experience in mechanical drafting or design support.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and tolerancing.
Understanding of machining, fabrication, or manufacturing processes.
Strong attention to detail and revision control.
