Position Type: Independent Sales Representative or Agency (Commission-Based)

We are looking for an independent sales representative or multi-brand agency to service and lead the expansion of the tentree wholesale business across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast territory.

The ideal partner will possess the ability to grow tentree's heritage in the outdoor specialty channel while strategically opening new doors within the lifestyle and contemporary segments. We are looking for a partner who understands that our mission is our product, and who can effectively communicate the value of our tree planting story to a diverse range of retailers.

Key Responsibilities

Territory Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to grow the tentree wholesale business across the 12-state territory

Actively prospect and onboard new brand-aligned retailers in both the specialty outdoor and lifestyle/fashion channels

Meet or exceed sales targets, including seasonal prebook and ATS goals.

Account Management & Service: Manage and nurture existing accounts to ensure consistent year-over-year growth and maintain strong buyer relationships

Lead seasonal line showings (digital and in-person) for all men's, women's, and accessories collections

Execute seasonal business reviews and analyze performance data from retailers to maximize revenue and inventory health for your partners

GTM & Operations: Build and present seasonal Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies, including territory forecasting and post-season debriefs

Ensure all seasonal prebook orders are submitted accurately and before established deadlines

Utilize B2B platform (Elastic Suite) for order entry, tracking growth, and identifying key regional trends

Brand Advocacy & In-Store Excellence: Collaborate with the tentree marketing team to ensure best-in-class in-store representation through POP, fixtures, and brand merchandising

Conduct regular "store clinics" to educate retail staff on tentree's products, sustainability practices, and the "ten trees planted" story

Represent tentree at regional and national trade shows

Requirements

Experience: Proven wholesale sales experience in the outdoor, fashion, action sports, or lifestyle apparel industries.

Infrastructure: Well-established agency infrastructure and existing relationships with key retailers in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.

Travel: Significant travel required throughout the 12-state region at own expense for account visits, line showings, and trade shows.

Logistics: Must reside within the designated region and possess a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
