
Regional Sales Manager, Germany- Aerospace & Defense

Join the dynamic team at AMETEK Aerospace & Defense as we seek a driven and experienced Germany Regional Sales Manager to spearhead OEM Sales. Covering a strategic sales territory, the ideal candidate would reside within the sales territory in a remote/home office. This role offers a pivotal opportunity to lead both strategically and tactically in cultivating new business within the Aerospace and Defense sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Accelerate Growth :
Strategically seek out and cultivate new business opportunities, leveraging existing accounts for incremental growth while actively hunting for and nurturing relationships with new customers.
Capitalize on second-source opportunities to displace incumbent competitors, expanding our market presence and share.
Maximize Sales Impact :
Operate within the established aerospace and defense markets, including military land and commercial aviation, to capitalize on every sales opportunity.
Employ a process-oriented approach to manage intricate and substantial sales pipelines with precision and ambition.
Cultivate profound connections with key strategic customers, fostering enduring partnerships that drive sustained sales.
Product Development Collaboration : Work collaboratively with external customers, and internal departments such as business development, engineering, and senior management to shape a product development roadmap that is highly attuned to customer needs, ensuring a competitive edge and bolstering market share.
Required Background
BA/BS required, Engineering or Technical Degree preferred
Familiarity with several technical areas: turbine engines, hydraulic systems, fuel systems, electrical power systems, high-performance computing, aircraft cooling, sensor technologies
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a sales and/or marketing role in Aerospace and/or Defense sectors
Demonstrated track record of sales success, with the ability to influence, cultivate, and secure new business with customers
Proficiency in computer applications including Salesforce and Microsoft Office
Skills for comprehensive business unit sales forecasting and analysis
Flexibility to travel up to 50% of the time
Strong ability to thrive under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
Remote Work Location: Ideally within Frankfurt, Hamburg, or Munich region
