We are seeking a
Digitalization Product Sales Manager
to drive the adoption of ANDRITZ automation and digitalization solutions across customer mills in the U.S. and Canada. This role is ideal for someone with strong
industrial process knowledge , hands‑on experience in
pulp and/or paper operations or automation , and a proven ability to engage mill stakeholders—from operators and maintenance teams to engineering and mill leadership. You will partner closely with Service Account Managers, Process Engineers, and Technical Specialists to uncover improvement opportunities, build value-based proposals, and support customer decision-making throughout the sales cycle. Key Responsibilities
Technical Sales & Customer Engagement
Engage directly with pulp & paper mills to identify operational challenges, reliability issues, and optimization opportunities. Provide technical guidance during sales cases, including solution definition, ROI justification, and value articulation. Conduct
on-site mill visits , including scope discovery, audits, troubleshooting support, and problem-solving discussions. Represent ANDRITZ Digitalization solutions at customer meetings, mill reviews, industry events, and technical conferences. Proposal & Solution Development
Support proposal development by contributing technical content, solution alignment, and site-specific scope definition. Develop pricing models, scopes of work, and value cases tailored to North American mill environments. Translate mill needs into actionable automation/digitalization recommendations involving APC, OTS, APM, and related technologies. Work with regional and global engineering, product management, service, and business development groups to secure opportunities. Partner with Service Account Managers to support customer strategy, pipeline development, and installed base growth. Promote consistent messaging, knowledge sharing, and solution alignment across the A&D group. What You Bring (Required Qualifications)
Minimum 5 years’ experience
in
industrial automation ,
process control ,
technical sales , or
mill operations
in pulp and/or paper. Strong understanding of pulp & paper production processes, equipment, and mill operational challenges. Experience performing
on-site evaluations , technical audits, or field-based process/automation assessments. Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to operators, engineers, superintendents, and mill leadership. Self‑managed, resourceful, and comfortable working in a field‑based role with 50% travel across the U.S. and Canada. Legally authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship required. Must currently reside in the
Southeastern United States . Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
Advanced Process Control (APC) ,
Operator Training Simulators (OTS) ,
Digital Twins ,
APM , or industrial predictive analytics. Background working directly inside pulp & paper mills, including exposure to batch and continuous process operations. Experience supporting mill troubleshooting, optimization studies, or performance improvement initiatives.
