Position Summary We’re looking for an experienced receptionist to join our New Castle, DE Headquarters! The ideal candidate has experience with multi-line switchboards and is comfortable in a high-pressured, ever-changing environment.
Position Responsibilities
Greet visitors.
Answer telephone calls (150+ calls per day).
Perform responsibilities with a high level of energy and professionalism.
Scan vendor packing slips and attach to Purchase Orders daily. Ability to learn our ERP System (Eclipse).
Completes special projects or supports as assigned.
General administrative tasks (i.e. filing, scanning, data entry, and special projects).
Order office/break room supplies.
Responsible for cash reconciliation and deposit slips for bank.
Perform other duties as obvious or assigned.
Works closely with all internal departments, combining individual efforts to better serve the customer.
Commitment to Safety

Act in a safe and positive manner always, ensure that those around you do not put themselves or others at risk. Your personal safety is your responsibility.
Complete an accident/Incident report for any safety and/or health infractions that occur or are witnessed.
Support all United Electric health, safety, and environmental policies for all employees within your branch.
Qualifications
Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm
High energy level
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Professional phone manners
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
High School Diploma required
