Inside Sales Account Manager - Better Business Bureau
Earning potential: $40,000-$120,000+ annually (performance‑based)

What You'll Do
Make 75-100 outbound calls daily to businesses across a wide range of industries
Identify and qualify companies that meet BBB standards
Educate business owners on the value of BBB Accreditation and how it supports their growth
Present annual dues, answer questions, and guide businesses through the application process
Collect dues payments and prepare applications for review
Maintain ongoing relationships with newly Accredited Businesses
Proactively source new leads in addition to those provided through BBB databases, inbound requests, and community outreach
A Typical Day Includes
Reviewing and selecting businesses in our service area that align with BBB standards
Calling and meeting with business owners to explain Accreditation benefits
Listening to their needs and showing how BBB can help solve real challenges
Completing applications, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth onboarding experience
Managing your portfolio of Accredited Businesses and supporting their continued success
Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales and performance goals
Additional Responsibilities
Track all interactions and progress in the BBB CRM system
Prepare applications for management review
Follow up on all Accreditation inquiries to ensure timely closure
Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture focused on growth and service
Requirements
Good attendance, promptness, time management, and attention to detail
At least one year of prior sales or account management experience
A great phone voice and ability to sell, motivate, and close over the phone
Active listening skills and the ability to control a conversation
A closer's mentality
Clear and professional communication skills via phone and email
A passion for success and earning money
Strong work ethic and character. Being able to self-manage and hit daily goals
Honesty; high level of integrity
Trainable and coachable; a quick learner
Ability to adapt to technology, including our backend system and Microsoft Office programs, and the proficiency to enter data while on calls
Highly proficient in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) and have basic computer skills
