Customs Entry Writer

Bradley David Associates is currently recruiting for a detail-oriented Entry Writer to join a dynamic import operations team in Illinois.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate documentation, regulatory compliance, and efficient processing of import shipments.

Key Responsibilities

Review import files, classify documentation, and research/assign HTS codes.

Manage PGA requirements, track "may proceed" releases, and alert clients to exam needs.

Coordinate with carriers for shipment holds and releases; manage bill of lading corrections.

Act as the primary bridge between operations, customer service, and the post-entry team.

Requirements

3+ years in entry writing or brokerage operations (PGA/data entry focus).

CargoWise One experience is highly preferred

Strong knowledge of U.S. and international ports/geography.

Exceptional attention to detail, strong multitasking abilities, and a customer-first mindset.
