Cash Management Sales Associate (RBC Clear)

What is the Opportunity? The Cash Management Sales Associate is a vital Corporates coverage team member that plays an integral part in acquiring, managing, and maintaining client relationships. This position is designed to provide the tools required to evolve and progress the skillsets needed to grow in RBC’s treasury organization. This role allows an individual to develop over time for a successful career within the firm and to pursue more senior roles within the Treasury group such as a cash management sales position.

Job Description

Work with treasury sales on client proposals to identify appropriate Treasury solutions, perform cost/benefit analysis, competitive pricing and run profitability models.

Assist with client call preparation by creating relationship review materials, pitch books, account plans, and conducting customer research.

Develop an understanding of clients' Treasury cash management structure and objectives.

Coordinate with product partners to develop comprehensive Treasury solutions.

Develop and understand competitors’ products and positioning within the client & market.

Work with treasury sales solutions throughout the sales cycle to manage pipeline and ensure services and pricing are set up timely and accurately.

Coordinate with internal partners to ensure successful implementation, product ramp‑up and accurate pricing/billing.

What do you need to succeed?

Bachelor's Degree required.

Minimum of 3 years of relevant banking and treasury experience.

Strong interest in working with experienced Treasury partners to recognize a client's cash flow needs and apply appropriate banking solutions.

Demonstrates the ability to understand Treasury Solutions products, pricing philosophy, and billing process and procedures.

Strong drive/ambition to develop into an individual contributor salesperson.

Superior verbal and written communication skills with the ability to mobilize internal networks and resources.

Time management, organizational and planning skills with proven ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word) and superior analytical and quantitative skills.

The good‑faith expected salary range for the above position is $110,000 – $135,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate’s experience, skills, registration status, market conditions, and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company‑matching contributions, health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, and paid time‑off plan.
