E-Commerce Manager

The E-Commerce Manager is responsible for owning and driving performance across NECA’s Direct-to-Consumer and marketplace channels, including Shopify, Amazon (Seller & Vendor Central), Walmart Marketplace, and other online platforms. Reporting to Director of Sales & Operations, this role serves as the central hub between Product, Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, and external partners to maximize revenue, profitability, and brand presence across digital channels. This position combines hands‑on channel management with strategic planning, analytics, inventory forecasting, and promotional execution. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of scaling marketplace accounts like Walmart and Amazon, while driving DTC growth through CRM, merchandising, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

Own and operate all DTC and marketplace channels (Shopify, Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Walmart Marketplace, and additional platforms), driving revenue growth, profitability, and conversion.

Lead Amazon and Walmart strategy, including listing optimization, storefront management, keyword research, competitive analysis, Brand Analytics reporting, and platform coordination.

Partner with CRM and Email Marketing teams to grow DTC revenue through campaign planning, segmentation, lifecycle automation, A/B testing, and subscriber growth.

Develop and manage the e-commerce calendar for launches, promotions, seasonal events, and bundles; ensure cross-functional readiness and execution.

Oversee day‑to‑day e-commerce execution, including site maintenance, digital merchandising, pricing, promotions, product availability, and sell‑through performance.

Monitor inventory health and warehouse performance; forecast demand, optimize channel allocation, and drive monetization through promotions, bundles, and lifecycle actions.

Serve as the central e-commerce liaison across Product, Marketing, Operations, Warehouse, Customer Service, Creative, and Leadership teams.

Manage internal and offshore e-commerce resources, prioritize workflows, and elevate risks impacting revenue, customer experience, or operations.

Deliver recurring performance reporting and insights on revenue trends, promotional effectiveness, margins, and forecasts to support decision‑making.

Partner with Creative and Marketing to develop high‑converting assets and maintain consistent brand presentation across e-commerce platforms.

Qualifications

5+ years of e‑commerce experience with hands‑on ownership of Amazon (Seller/Vendor Central), Walmart Marketplace, and DTC platforms (Shopify, Rithum, eBay).

Demonstrated success scaling online revenue and improving channel profitability in a fast‑paced consumer products environment.

Strong analytical and financial acumen; advanced Excel skills required.

Experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and managing internal or offshore support teams.

Deep understanding of digital merchandising, marketplace optimization, inventory planning, and promotional strategy.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferred.

Experience in toys, collectibles, or licensed consumer products strongly preferred.

Hiring Range The hiring range for this position is $70,000-$80,000 per year.
