Position Title: Marketing Manager Reports to: Vice President, Integrated Marketing & Digital Enablement – North America The Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping KSB’s brand presence and driving growth across products and services. This role is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies for an assigned market area, building the KSB brand, and delivering creative campaigns that effectively reach target groups.
The ideal candidate is creative, influential, and digitally minded, with a strong focus on developing and deploying market‑driven strategies, campaigns, and programs grounded in customer and market understanding. This individual is results‑oriented and motivated by business impact, with the ability to translate customer feedback and market dynamics into marketing approaches that drive measurable growth.
Success in this role requires comfort operating in a fast‑paced environment with high expectations. Marketing and digital initiatives are viewed as strategic levers at KSB, and the Marketing department is expected to collaborate across functions, influence stakeholders, and execute with creative excellence.
Location: Richmond, VA (preferred) or Remote Duties/Responsibilities
Translate business and the overall marketing strategy into actionable marketing roadmaps and innovative customer‑and result‑focused campaigns across digital, print, and events to drive growth and brand awareness.
Build and lead thought leadership campaigns and content by proactively identifying relevant customer, industry, and market themes, and driving execution in close collaboration with the market area.
Develop and execute sales and rep enablement materials, campaigns, and tools—working closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and market dynamics.
Build and implement digital lead management across the entire buying centre (reps, OEMs, consultants, and KSB), leveraging CRM and marketing technologies.
Operate marketing automation‑driven campaigns and new marketing technologies to increase efficiency and customer engagement.
Plan, execute, and optimise all marketing activities using data‑driven insights, market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback.
Develop and oversee creation of engaging content for websites, social media, brochures, presentations, and other customer‑facing materials.
Continuously professionalise marketing and communications within the assigned market area by delivering standardised, cohesive sales and marketing materials.
Manage marketing budgets, aligning spend with strategic objectives and ensuring measurable impact.
Plan, organise, and execute trade shows, conferences, and customer events to strengthen brand presence and customer engagement.
Required Skills And Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field
3‑5 years experience in marketing or brand management roles
Understanding of industrial and B2B marketing
Proactive, opportunity‑driven mindset with the ability to lead ideas and innovation
Strong creative skills even in high‑pressure situations
Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in using digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, social media platforms, content management systems, marketing automation software, etc.
Graphic design skills and working knowledge of standard graphic design programmes
Analytical mind with the ability to interpret data and make data‑driven decisions
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and fast‑evolving business and market dynamics, with the confidence to communicate effectively across all levels of the organisation
