We are seeking 2 Apparel Designers specializing in Cut & Sew Knits and Sweaters to support our Sleep & Lounge and Speed divisions. These roles are responsible for creating original, trend-driven apparel concepts that balance style, function, and commercial viability.
The ideal candidate brings strong knitwear expertise, a deep understanding of fabric and construction, and the ability to translate fashion trends into compelling seasonal product. Depending on experience, designers will support either women’s Sleep & Lounge product or Speed/performance-driven product.
Key Responsibilities
Create original cut & sew knit and/or sweater design concepts aligned to seasonal direction
Interpret fashion trends and translate them into commercially viable apparel
Develop sketches, technical flats, and seasonal design presentations
Partner cross-functionally with sourcing and materials development teams
Select and develop fabrics and trims appropriate for category needs
Provide fit and body block guidance and actively participate in fit sessions
Ensure designs balance aesthetics, function, quality, and cost considerations
Collaborate with design leadership to execute category strategies
Qualifications
Related experience in apparel design with emphasis in cut & sew knits and/or sweaters
Strong understanding of fabric development, knit construction, and garment fit
Ability to analyze and interpret fashion trends
Proficiency in sketching and concept development
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
Bachelor’s degree in Design or equivalent experience
