Position Summary
Anthology Events is seeking an organized, service-driven Event Sales Coordinator to manage incoming leads, contract events, and support execution across weddings, corporate events, restaurant dining, photography sessions, and private rentals. This role is ideal for an experienced event professional who thrives in a fast‑paced hospitality environment and enjoys events and sales.
Reports to the Director of Events.
Company: Anthology Events Location: Book Tower – Detroit, MI
Key Responsibilities
Respond to all incoming leads within 24–48 hours via CRM (TripleSeat)
Qualify inquiries with pricing and availability; schedule site visits
Contract and coordinate restaurant group dining, PDRs, buyouts (as directed), photography sessions, Business Center and Terrace Club rentals
Prepare BEO packets for weekly meetings
Create menus for events and private dining
Schedule and assist with wedding tastings
Close events with final reports, payments, and thank‑you communications
Support ticketed events and special projects as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Professional event planning experience required
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure
Team player with a passion for hospitality, sales, and client service
