Minimum qualifications

Experience with AI tools.

About The Job At Google, we "Focus on the user and all else will follow." Our Visual Designers weave space, typography, color, and iconography to help people successfully navigate our products, ensuring they are beautiful and accessible. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, to leverage user insights and create industry-leading products.

As a Visual Designer, you will rely on user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution. You will collaborate with your design partners to leverage and evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative, inspired products that people love to use.

In this role, you will define new video-forward browsing experiences. You will collaborate closely with our "Effortless Entertainment" design to make YouTube more immersive and bring the app to life. Your work will take you from the Home page to every one of our evaluation feeds, reshaping the core YouTube discovery journey for the biggest video platform in the world.

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $132,000-$189,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

Lead the creation of high‑quality designs from initial concept to final execution across mobile, tablet, and web platforms.

Partner seamlessly with Product, User Experience, and Engineering teams to define user‑centric features and ensure technical feasibility.

Translate conceptual goals into interactive designs while clearly articulating and justifying the design goals to stakeholders and peers.

Collaborate closely with User Experience researchers to rationalize design decisions through data and user insights for continuous product improvement.

Work alongside fellow designers and engineers to ensure detailed, high‑fidelity implementation within platform constraints and brand standards.
