Job Description
Commercial Insurance Account Manager – 85-100k base salary – Fully Remote
Summary NY Experience is required.
Established agency seeking to hire a Commercial Insurance Account Executive.
Job Duties
Full Knowledge of insurance products and usages
Ability to advise and consult with clients re: their insurance coverages
Manage workflow of assigned book of business and delegate workflow
Maintain accounts in accordance with organizational guidelines
Service and monitor account activity.
Call existing insured to compliment or “round out” personal accounts.
Work strategically with sales staff to optimize relationships and protect client’s business.
Perform special projects as directed by the VP, Commercial Lines.
Review policies and coverage for accuracy and rating calculations.
Process endorsements, placement requests and invoicing.
Complete and prepare certificates, proposals, policy summaries and reviews.
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with partners, carriers and vendors.
Responsible for marketing process & quoting new and renewal business
Qualifications
5-7+ Years working with small‑middle market accounts in agency environment required
Ability to meet/w clients and discuss insurance mitigation strategies
Must be organized
Ability to delegate workflow
Ability to multi task
Must have lines of coverage experience: Management Liability lines – Cyber, D&O, E&O, EPLI, NYS Labor Law etc.
Experience with Construction, Contractors, Real Estate, Start Ups, etc.
Experienced with Applied Epic Required
