The Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore (WPB) is dedicated to creating a cleaner, greener, and more vibrant waterfront for everyone. Through innovative programs, events, and placemaking initiatives, we connect residents and visitors to one of the city’s greatest shared assets.
We are seeking a Marketing & Social Media Coordinator—an early-career marketing professional with strong storytelling instincts and a passion for capturing real-world experiences through digital content. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the community, creating engaging visuals, and bringing a destination to life online.
What You’ll Do
Create and manage engaging content across social media, blogs, newsletters, and video platforms
Capture photography and video at waterfront events, parks, neighborhoods, and partner locations
Support execution of marketing campaigns developed by the Marketing team
Maintain website content, event listings, and digital communications
Collaborate with Events, Programs, and Communications teams to showcase WPB initiatives
What We’re Looking For
1+ year of experience in content marketing or social media
Strong visual storytelling and copywriting skills
Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and digital publishing tools
Entry-level experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design platforms
Organized, adaptable, and comfortable working evenings or weekends for events

This is an in-person position located in Baltimore, MD. No remote applicants will be considered.
This position currently requires three days in the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and allows for two days of work from home (Monday and Friday) each week. Evening and weekend event hours will be required as needed.
