Restoration Crew Chief
SERVPRO of Piscataway is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Restoration Crew Chief to oversee and lead out restoration technicians. This is done by coordinating, monitoring, and performing work activities on projects to successfully fulfill service needs and facilitate a positive customer experience. Key responsibilities include: Knowledge of disaster restoration industry (Water, Fire, Mold) Report to work on time in a clean, complete uniform Coach and train restoration technicians and ensure safety standards are being followed during all active jobs Ensures appropriate equipment and supplies are loaded on truck needed for job, arrives to work site Performs daily monitoring and required activities on all active jobs to residential and/or commercial customers with a sense of urgency Completes sketch and scope sheet for estimate, complete drying records using mobile software Inspects jobs after completion and obtains customer signatures for certification of satisfaction Must be able to prioritize activities and meet deadlines Maintain inventory of supplies Position requirements include: Valid driver's license At least 1 year of experience in cleaning, restoration, or construction Experience with using Xactimate is preferred but not required Certifications required: OCT Odor Control Technician Certifications are preferred, but not required: ASD Applied Structural Drying Technician FSRT Fire & Smoke Restoration Technician OCT Odor Control Technician Skills/Physical Demands/Competencies: Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly (occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance) climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces (i.e. crawl spaces, attics) Compensation: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
